Embarking from the cabin, you can drive to trailheads in the Crazy Mountains that take you to vistas and high lakes. Fishing and hunting are available nearby in public access areas. Yellowstone Park is less than two hours away, or you can stop and visit the towns of Wilsall, Clyde Park, Livingston and Bozeman.
